Based in Los Angeles, composer and guitarist Devin Johnson creates music that delves into the vast spectrum of liminal spaces and expansive rolling seas of emotion, earning him accolades and awards. As a native of Los Angeles, Devin’s mirrored love of filmmaking and performing in DIY scenes led him to the UCLA Film Scoring program and assisting at Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions. Notable credits include Masha Ko’s Sundance award winning film “The Looming”, Bella Thorne’s directorial debut “Paint Her Red”, Shriekfest 2021 Best Thriller Feature “Stalker”, additional music for SXSW 2023 Audience Award Documentary Feature winner “Geoff McFetridge: Drawing a Life”, and Indie Short Fest Best Original Score of the Year “Howd’y!”.
